The KBAQ Production Studio is committed to entertaining, informing, and enriching the greater Phoenix metropolitan area by providing quality classical music concerts. Live performances by visiting artists of international stature, talented members of the ASU School of Music community, and local artists and ensembles are recorded for later broadcast on KBAQ 89.5 FM. KBAQ is licensed to KBAQ 89.5 FM Arizona State University and the Maricopa Community College District.

With one of the most ambitious concert production schedules among classical music radio stations in the country, KBAQ Production Studio recordings are not only heard locally on KBAQ FM 89.5, but also air regularly on National Public Radio's Performance Today, which reaches a daily audience of two million listeners.
Thanks to the recorded broadcasts of live performances created by the KBAQ Production Studio, the artistry of talented resident musicians reaches thousands of listeners outside the concert hall. Sold-out performances can be enjoyed by those who were unable to attend local appearances by international performers. These delayed broadcasts of concerts featuring soloists, ensembles and symphony orchestras, as well as performances of complete operas, help create enthusiasm and appreciation for Arizona's diverse classical music offerings.
