Location:
Is located in the Arizona Strip, 15 miles west of Fredonia, Arizona.

Driving Directions from Phoenix:
Take I-17 north to Flagstaff. Take 89 north to Alt. 89 into Fredonia, AZ. Turn onto Arizona State Route 389 in Fredonia, Arizona. Pipe Spring is 15 miles west of Fredonia.

Pipe Spring has three historic buildings open to the public year round. Winsor Castle (the Fort) is accessible only by ranger guided tours. These tours are offered every thirty minutes, on the hour and half hour. The East and West Cabins can be visited on your own.
The Monument grounds include a garden, orchard, corrals (complete with longhorn cattle and horses), other farm livestock, and a half-mile trail offering impressive views of the Arizona Strip. These can be visited on your own.
During the summer months ranger guided walks, talks, and demonstrations of pioneer and Indian crafts and lifeways are offered daily in the cooler morning hours.

Camping:
Kaibab Paiute Tribe operates a campground about 0.25 mile from the park; 25 sites; full hookups; showers. Call (928) 643-7245 for further information.

Facilities:
The Pipe Spring National Monument - Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians Visitor Center and Museum is a partnership effort, the first of it's kind. Through twelve exhibits, visitors will learn about the history of the Kaibab Paiutes, their interactions with other tribes and cultures, the movement of Mormon settlers into the area, as well as modern day Paiute culture. A 5-minute introductory video is also available for viewing.

The restrooms are located in the Visitor Center complex as well as a bookstore/giftshop operated by the non-profit Zion Natural History Association.

Required Permits:
Back country hiking permits may be issued through the visitor center.
