Four women writers raft down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Journalist Linda Ellerbee, novelist Denise Chavez, naturalist Ruth Kirk and writer and painter Barbara Thomas face their fears head-on as they renew and re-examine their relationships with nature.
