About Eight's Ready to Learn

Jump to: Goals | Positive Impact on Learning | Funding

Ready to Learn is public broadcasting's ongoing contribution to our Arthur nation's most important educational goal - that all children begin school ready to learn.

Working with parents and caregivers, this community-based initiative uses Eight children's television programs to emphasize reading, educational activities, and smart television viewing.

PBS and Eight/KAET set the standard for quality television and are honored to provide Ready to Learn.

Selecting appropriate programs for kids can be challenging. PBS Kids is the leader - the gold standard - in the development of quality, educational programming for children.

Parents rely on Eight for non-violent, non-commerical, educational programs.
